The wine restaurant "U Mecene" is one of the oldest restaurants in Prague. Its origin dates back to the sixteenth century. Even today, it keeps its original look. You may find here the place where JAN MYDL, the famous Prague executioner used to sit in 1620s.
This wine restaurant is renowned not only for its first class service, but also for its perfect cuisine. Beef steaks and caviar, and -above all- Old Bohemian stuffed duck are simply unforgetable. Top off your night with the specialty dessert of the house: crepes flambeau. Carefully selected wines from Moravia will contribute to your feeling of perfect satisfaction, too.
