You can find the romantic pension Alt Straninger in the historical heart of �esk� Krumlov, just across the street from the Egon Schiele Art Center in �irok� street 49.

You will enjoy your stay in the unique mediaeval atmosphere building with all the nowadays comfort you require. Each of our 4 rooms is designed in a different style but always equipped with a modern bathroom and minibar. The state of the art condition of the building is the result of the careful and demanding work of the restorers.

The origin of the building is romanesque and first written mentions of it are dated back to 1370. The rebuilding to the baroque form was realized about 1660 by the houseowner of the time, the Krumlov�s councilman Straninger. The house is one of the buildings in Cesky krumlov listed by UNESCO. When you come and If you are lucky; you might hear our ghost at night.

On the ground floor you find our Art and Craft gallery offering tradi�tional hand made fine ceramics as well as other products of modern artists
